How to Add a Detailed Description to Class Sessions (e.g. Workout of the Day)
Provide session-specific information to inform and engage your customers before they book.
Adding detailed descriptions to your classes helps set clear expectations and improves the customer experience. Whether you are announcing a special event or simply outlining the day's workout, you can customize your session notes for individual multiple class dates.
Add a Description to a Single Session
- Go to Activities > Classes > 3 dots > Edit appointment
- Write your description in Notes
- You can choose whether you want to make the notes visible to your customers
Note: You can recognize classes that have a note in your classes overview if they have this symbol:
Add a Description to Multiple Sessions at Once
- Go to Activities > Classes > 3 dots > Class settings
- Go to Dates
- Select all the days you want to have this description and click on edit
- Select at Notes > Edit Notes and then write your note
- Do not forget to save the activity
Where Do Customers See These Notes
Once added, the description is visible in the details of the activity before customers complete their booking. It will appear in a gray info box under the specific session:
Use Cases for Session Descriptions
Here are a few practical ways to make use of session notes:
Workout of the Day
For CrossFit or fitness classes, list the specific exercises planned. This helps customers prepare and choose sessions that suit their fitness level.
Holiday Special
Highlight seasonal sessions like a Christmas Yoga Flow or New Year’s Detox Class to attract attention and boost bookings.
Guest Instructor
Let customers know when a special guest teacher will lead a session.
