Common Issue: Data Appears in One Colum
If all data appears in a single column, it’s likely a delimiter issue. Here’s how to fix it:
In Google Sheets:
-
Open Google Sheets.
-
Go to File > Import > Upload and upload your CSV file.
-
In the import settings, change the separator type from "Auto-detect" to Custom.
-
Enter a semicolon ( ; ) as the separator.
In Microsoft Excel:
-
Open your CSV file in Excel.
-
Select the first column containing the data.
-
Go to Data > Text to Columns.
-
Choose Delimited, then click Next.
-
Select Semicolon as the delimiter and click Finish.
