Multi-Factor-Authentication (MFA/2FA) on the Eversports Manager

At Eversports, we take the protection of your data — and your customers’ data — very seriously. To make sure your studio’s information stays secure at all times, we’re introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all Eversports Manager accounts.

What is MFA?
MFA (also known as 2-Factor Authentication) adds an extra layer of protection to your account. In addition to your password, you confirm your login with a second factor — for example, a code from your phone. This ensures that only authorized users can access your studio data, even if a password were ever compromised.

Why it matters for you as a sports provider
As a studio owner or manager, your Eversports account gives access to sensitive data — from customer contact details to payment information and membership revenues. MFA helps protect this information from unauthorized access and keeps your business, your staff, and your customers safe.

As the data processor and provider of the Eversports Manager, we are committed to offering state-of-the-art security measures that comply with European data protection standards. Introducing MFA is part of this responsibility — ensuring that every Eversports partner benefits from modern, reliable data protection without needing to manage complex IT setups themselves.

When will this change happen?
MFA will become a mandatory security feature for all Eversports Manager users by December 1, 2025, with the roles:

  • admin

  • leading employee 

  • tax consultant

We’ll guide you through the setup process well in advance to make the transition smooth and simple.

🧘 How to set up 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) for your Eversports Manager

Setting up 2FA only takes a few minutes and makes your Eversports account much more secure.
Here’s how you can do it on desktop or mobile:

💻 Setup on your desktop

1. Download an authenticator app

  1. Click the link in this Helpcenter article to open the list of recommended authenticator apps.

  2. Choose one (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).

  3. Use your mobile device to scan the QR code shown on the screen — it will open your app store so you can download the app.

2. Connect the authenticator app with Eversports

  1. Open the authenticator app on your phone.

  2. Add a new account by scanning the QR code shown in your Eversports Manager.

  3. Your authenticator app is now connected!

3. Confirm your setup

  1. In the authenticator app, you’ll see a 6-digit code for your Eversports account.

  2. Enter this code into the Eversports Manager and click “Confirm code.”

4. Download your recovery codes (important!)

  • Click “Download recovery codes.”

  • Save these codes in a safe place on your computer or phone.
    👉 You’ll need them if you lose your mobile device or want to set up 2FA again on a new device.

📱 Setup on your mobile device (iOS / Android)

1. Download an authenticator app

  1. Click the link in this Helpcenter article to open the list of recommended authenticator apps.

  2. Tap on one of the download links to open the app in your App Store (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).

  3. Install the app.

2. Connect the authenticator app with Eversports

  1. Open the authenticator app.

  2. Choose manual setup and enter:

    • Account name: your Eversports email address

    • Setup key: copy the key shown in your Eversports Manager

    • Issuer name: Eversports Manager

  3. Your authenticator app is now connected!

3. Confirm your setup

  1. Copy the 6-digit code shown in the authenticator app.

  2. Paste it into the Eversports Manager field.

  3. Click “Confirm code.”

4. Download your recovery codes (important!)

  • Tap “Download recovery codes.”

  • Save these codes in a safe and easy-to-find place on your device.
    👉 You’ll need them if you lose your phone or change devices.

 

🔐 Logging in with 2FA

  1. Enter your email and password.

  2. Open your authenticator app and copy the 6-digit verification code.

  3. Paste it into the Eversports login screen.

  4. (Optional) Check “Remember me for 14 days” to skip 2FA on this device for the next two weeks.
    ⚠️ Use this only on your personal device, not on shared or studio computers.

 

🕐 Notes & FAQs

  • How long is a verification code valid?
    Each code is valid for 30 seconds, then it refreshes automatically in your app.
  • How often do I have to use 2FA?
    • On shared devices: you’ll be logged out automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity (or 24 hours max).
    • On personal devices: if you check “Remember me for 14 days,” you’ll stay logged in for up to 14 days
    • Every time you log out manually or are logged out automatically, you’ll need to log in again with your password + 2FA.
  • What if I lose access to my mobile device?
    Use one of your recovery codes to log in. If you no longer have those, please contact Eversports Customer Support to help you regain access securely. (See helpcenter article on how to recover.)

✅ Tip: Setting up 2FA only takes a few minutes and greatly improves your account’s protection. Once activated, you can log in safely anytime — knowing your studio’s data and your customers’ trust are protected.
