Blocking an unwanted customer

1) Limit the number of bookings of a customer

If you want to limit the number of future bookings of a customer, you can:

  • In Customers > Customer groups > click on the "Undesirable" group. Now a window will open where you can set restrictions for this customer group.

  • You can limit the number of bookings in the future.
EXAMPLE: if you limit to 1 booking, the customer will be able to register for one class, then will have to wait until this class is over before being able to book another class. This prevents customers with unlimited memberships for example from signing up for too many dates in the future and blocking places for other people:

2) Blocking a customer's bookings

If you want to prevent a customer from booking your courses, you can:

  • In the settings of your services (Products > Click on the 3 points > Edit > Settings > Purchase rules > Customer groups) and memberships: check the box "limit online purchases to certain customer groups" and delete the "Undesirable" group:

You have to do this for each product (or only those for which you want to block the purchase to undesirable customers).

  • Do the same in your activities settings (Activities > Management > click on the 3 points > Edit > Rules > Registration rules > Customer groups): check the box 'Limit online purchases to certain customer groups' and delete the 'Undesirable' group.
You have to do this for each activity (or only those for which you want to block the registration for undesirable customers).
