Refunds and Withdrawal Requests Explained

Learn when the right to withdraw applies, how to submit a request, and how refunds are handled.

If you purchased a product online through Eversports, you may have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after purchase under EU consumer protection law.

This article explains:



ℹ️ What is the right to withdraw?

The right to withdraw allows you to cancel certain online purchases within 14 days without needing to provide a reason.

This right mainly applies to products that:

  • were purchased online
  • are not tied to a fixed date or time

ℹ️  Please note: Whether a withdrawal request is valid is always evaluated individually by the sports provider.


💻 In which cases do I have the right to withdraw?

You can currently submit withdrawal requests directly through Eversports for:

  • Memberships
  • Block cards
  • Time cards

The right to withdraw may also apply to:

  • Vouchers
  • Individual video purchases

For these products, please contact the provider directly by email (see model notice).


❌ Which purchases are excluded from the right to withdraw?

The right to withdraw generally does not apply to sports and leisure services with a fixed date or time, for example:

  • single ticket for individual class bookings
  • combi-tickets for workshops / events / etc. with fixed sessions
  • court bookings or room rentals

📤 How do I submit a withdrawal request?

You can submit a withdrawal request directly through your Eversports account:

  1. Open “My passes & memberships”
  2. Open the purchased product
  3. Click “Withdraw”
  4. Confirm the request via “Confirm and send withdrawal request”

Once submitted:

  • the sports provider receives your request by email
  • you receive a confirmation email from Eversports

💡 Who handles my withdrawal request and refund?

The purchase contract is concluded directly between you and the sports provider.

This means:

  • the provider evaluates whether your withdrawal request is valid
  • the provider decides whether a full or partial refund applies
  • the provider processes the refund directly with you

Eversports provides the platform and payment processing, but does not automatically approve or reject withdrawal requests.


💸 How are refunds processed?

If your withdrawal request is accepted, the sports provider will process your refund.

Depending on the case:

  • the refund may be sent automatically to your original payment method
  • or the provider may refund you manually via bank transfer

ℹ️  Please note: You will not receive an automatic refund confirmation from Eversports or Stripe. The provider should contact you directly once the refund has been processed.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few business days until the refunded amount appears in your account.
