❓What are customer tags?
Customer tags help you organize your customers based on important attributes - like their skill level, preferences, participation in special offers, and much more. Tags are completely customisable by you and only visible to your team. They're a simple but powerful way to improve communication by enabling you to better target your customers.
✨ What can you do with tags?
Here are some real-world examples of how you can use tags to make your daily work easier and your communication smarter:
- Tag your customers in groups like “students”, “seniors”, “corporates” to send them personalized offers, challenges or reminders.
- Tag customers based on their skill level, e.g. “beginner” and send them fitting classes and offers.
- Tag customers who visited your pre-natal classes, e.g. as “pregnant” and set a reminder to later contact them for promoting your post-natal classes.
🛠️ How to Use Tags in Eversports Manager
➕ Create and manage tags
- Go to Customers and navigate to the tab Tags
- Create the tags that you want to use for your customers by clicking on the "Add new tag" button
- You can assign each tag a distinctive colour and a description so that you know later on what the tag is intended for
- You can edit existing tags* via this tab or delete them if you don’t need them anymore
*Please be aware that if you edit tags the changes will be applied to all customers who currently have this tag.
✅ Add a tag to a Customer
- Go to Customers in your Eversports Manager.
- Open the profile of the customer you want to tag and click on the assign tag link on top.
- Choose the desired tag(s) in the tag section and save.
💡 Pro Tip: Bulk Tagging
Do you want to tag multiple customers at once? Filter your contact list in the Marketing section and apply tags to all selected customers.
🧹 Remove or Edit Tags
- Tags can be removed directly from a customer profile when you click the edit customer option.
- Via Customers > Tags you can delete existing tags. This will remove tags from all customers who currently have it saved.
- You can also edit existing tags via the Tags tab in the Customer section. The changes will be applied to all customers who currently have the tag assigned that you have edited.
🔍 Filter customers by tag
You can filter your customer overview and your marketing contact list by tags - this is especially useful when you want to:
- Send them a message via the Communication Extension in the Marketing section.
- Export customers with tags to communicate via a 3rd party communication tool
💡 Pro Tip: Use tags in combination with filters like last visit, products, or membership to target customers even better.

✅ Keep tags short & clear
Use single words or short phrases: student, injured, prenatal, VIP, black belt
✅ Add a description for each tag
This helps you to understand the intention of each tag later on.
✅ Review tags regularly
Some tags might change over time. Consider cleaning up unused tags every few months.

Yes, if you're a migrated Fitogram provider, your tags are available again and visible on the respective customers and the tag management section.
